7 Days: Family Friendly Uganda Adventure
Day 1 – A Lake Victoria Adventure & the Search for the Dinosaur

Day 2 – Journey to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
- After a hearty breakfast, set off on a scenic drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos roam freely. Thanks to dedicated conservation efforts, rhinos have been successfully reintroduced here, and you’ll likely spot some right away—sometimes even near your accommodation!
- After checking in, embark on a guided nature walk, an immersive journey through 27 square miles of diverse terrain—from lush woodlands and open savannah to swampy wetlands. Along the way, encounter a variety of wildlife, including playful primates, vibrant bird species, and other wild mammals, making this a perfect introduction to Uganda’s rich biodiversity.

Day 3 - Rhino Trekking & Transfer to Murchison Falls

- After your trek, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most wildlife-rich park. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a scenic drive through the park itself, which doubles as a mini-game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and even big cats like lions and leopards as the sun sets over the savannah.
Day 4 - Safari and Nile Adventure in MF National Park
- Wake up early for an exciting morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. Covering a vast landscape of open savannah, riverine forests, and acacia woodlands, this park is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife. Search for the Big 4—buffaloes, lions, leopards, and elephants—along with giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, hyenas, bushbucks, warthogs, and more.

While the family relaxes and explores the serene surroundings, one of the parents can set off early for an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale National Park (Please note that this activity is only available for visitors aged 12 and older). Led by expert trackers, this unforgettable experience offers a rare chance to observe wild chimpanzees up close in their natural rainforest habitat.
Once reunited, the whole family will head to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided walk through this incredible biodiversity hotspot, famous for its birdwatching, primate sightings, and stunning swamp landscapes. Beyond the wildlife, this experience offers a rich cultural immersion—you’ll have the chance to learn about traditional coffee-making and medicinal plants. Day 7 - Scenic drive back to Entebbe
- After a relaxing breakfast, soak in the last moments of Uganda’s breathtaking landscapes before beginning your scenic drive back to Entebbe. Enjoy the journey through rolling hills, lush countryside, and bustling villages, offering a final glimpse of Uganda’s beauty and culture.
- Depending on your flight schedule, you can stop for a local lunch along the way or visit a craft market to pick up handmade souvenirs as a memory of your adventure.
