Day 1 - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
- Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at your hotel or Entebbe Airport, where your private, English-speaking driver—with 16 years of experience—picks you up in a comfortable safari Land Cruiser.
- From there, enjoy a scenic drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Uganda’s only rhino sanctuary, home to 47 rhinos, including a newborn this February. This offers a rare chance to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and choose to either relax and soak in the surroundings or embark on a guided nature walk (at additional cost).
Day 2 - Rhino Trekking and Murchison National Park
- Start your day with breakfast, then head out for an exciting rhino trekking adventure at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Guided by expert rangers, you’ll track southern white rhinos on foot through their natural habitat. This thrilling experience offers a unique chance to observe these magnificent creatures up close, while learning about their conservation and behavior in the wild. It’s an unforgettable adventure in the heart of nature!
- After your rhino trek, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest park, home to diverse wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and over 450 bird species.
- Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation. You can then either relax and enjoy the surroundings or choose to embark on an evening game drive to spot more of the park’s incredible wildlife.
Day 3: Safari and Nile Adventure in Murchison Falls National Park
- Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out on a thrilling safari through Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s oldest and largest national park. Here, you can spot the Big 4—buffaloes, lions, leopards, and elephants. The park is also home to a rich variety of wildlife, with over 451 bird species and more than 76 mammal species, including Jackson hartebeests, antelopes, kobs, giraffes, hyenas, bushbucks, and warthogs.
- After lunch, get ready for an unforgettable two-hour Nile cruise! The River Nile, is the longest river in the world, winding through nine countries, with its source in Uganda. Our adventure takes us right to the heart of Murchison Falls, where you’ll witness the full force and majesty of the most powerful waterfall from below. As we cruise, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife along the banks—giant Nile crocodiles, massive hippos, herds of buffalo, and a dazzling array of birds.
Day 4: On Top of the World’s Most Powerful Waterfall
- Enjoy a delicious breakfast before setting off, crossing Murchison Falls National Park once more. Stay alert for wildlife sightings, including hyenas, as you travel. End your journey with a visit to the top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty River Nile surges through a narrow gorge, creating the world’s most powerful waterfall.
- Continue your adventure toward Kibale National Park, passing through Uganda’s
- stunning countryside filled with rolling hills, tea plantations, and vibrant greenery.
- Upon arrival, take time to relax and recharge for the exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure that awaits you. Alternatively, embark on an optional crater walk to take in the park’s beauty from a unique vantage point.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking
- Start your day with an early breakfast before heading into Kibale National Park for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. Led by expert guides, you’ll venture into the dense rainforest to track and observe these fascinating primates up close. Watch as they swing through the trees, interact with each other, and display their playful personalities.
- After the trek, enjoy lunch and spend the afternoon exploring more of what the Kibale region has to offer. For an additional cost, immerse yourself in the rich traditions of the local communities. Discover the secrets of coffee making from bean to cup, meet a traditional healer to learn about medicinal plants, and watch skilled women weave intricate local crafts. You can also learn the art of brewing banana beer and gin or opt for a scenic crater walk to soak in the stunning surroundings.
Day 6 - Scenic drive back to Entebbe
- Begin your final day with a leisurely breakfast, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of Kibale’s lush landscapes. Afterward, embark on your scenic drive back to Entebbe, with a stop at the Equator for photos and a visit to local craft shops. Continue your journey, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
