If you wish, you can also go on a night game drive to see the park in the dark for a chance to catch leopards hunting.

Day 2: Walking Safari at Lake Mburo National Park
Begin the day with a guided walking safari, led by an armed ranger — a unique way to get closer to the animals in Lake Mburo National Park. The park is one of the best places in Uganda to see large herds of zebras and the striking Rothschild’s giraffe. You may also encounter topis, elands, and other antelope species, along with a wide variety of birdlife.
After embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy the breathtaking views of rolling hills, lush forests, and rural villages along the way.
Driving Time: 3-4 hours

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Forest
Today you’ll trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. After a short briefing, set off with your guide into the forest to track one of the habituated gorilla families. Once located, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing them up close — playing, moving through the trees, and interacting with each other in their natural environment.
This is the highlight of any trip to Uganda and an experience that leaves a lasting impression.
After the trek, continue your adventure to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most breathtaking and peaceful places in Uganda. Check in and rest at your lodge, surrounded by the lake’s calm waters and dotted islands that create an unforgettable view.
Driving Time: 1-2 hours

Day 4: Islands of Lake Bunyonyi and Return to Entebbe
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast with spectacular views of the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi stretching out before you.
Optional (at extra cost): If you have a late-night flight, consider a peaceful canoe trek on Lake Bunyonyi before departing for Entebbe.
Afterwards, begin your scenic drive back to Entebbe, stopping at the Equator for lunch, and arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
