3 Day Luxury Fly-In Gorilla Trekking in Uganda
Day 1: Fly in to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Skip the long 10-hour drive and take a scenic flight to Bwindi.
You’ll depart Entebbe International Airport in the morning on a scenic flight to Kihihi Airstrip. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your luxury lodge, a refined retreat perched in the southern reaches of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
You’ll settle into your accommodation, surrounded by panoramic views of Bwindi. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Pangolin Conservation Centre, where you’ll learn how rescued pangolins are rehabilitated and prepared for release back into the wild. It’s a rare opportunity to see a species that is extremely difficult to encounter in the wild.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Relaxing Massage
Today you’ll trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. After a short briefing, set off with your guide into the forest to track one of the habituated gorilla families. Once located, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing them up close — playing, moving through the trees, and interacting with each other in their natural environment.
This is the highlight of any trip to East Africa and an experience that leaves a lasting impression.
After your trek, you’ll return to the lodge for a complimentary 45-minute massage to soothe your muscles and relax.
Day 3: Fly Back to Entebbe
After breakfast, you’ll say goodbye to the enchanting Bwindi forest as your driver transfers you back to Kisoro Airstrip. You’ll board your return flight to Entebbe, enjoying aerial views of Uganda’s stunning landscapes one last time.
